Making Prom Night Unforgettable
Prom is one of the most memorable nights of high school, and arriving in a luxury or exotic car elevates the experience from special to legendary. Whether it is a Rolls-Royce Cullinan pulling up to the venue or a Corvette C8 making an entrance, the right car sets the tone for the entire evening.
At Valkyrie Car Rentals, we have outfitted dozens of prom nights across California and Miami. Here is everything parents and students need to know about booking the perfect prom car.
Best Cars for Prom
Rolls-Royce Cullinan ($895/day): The ultimate prom statement. Coach doors create a red-carpet arrival moment, and the starlight headliner makes for incredible photos. Available with a chauffeur who handles all the driving while you and your group enjoy the ride.
Corvette C8 Stingray ($395/day): The best budget-friendly exotic for prom. Mid-engine looks, supercar performance, and a price point that works for families. Self-drive for 18+ with valid license and proper insurance.
Mercedes G63 AMG ($595/day): Perfect for groups. Fits five comfortably, looks incredible in photos, and has the social media recognition that Gen Z values. Available with or without chauffeur.
Chauffeur vs Self-Drive for Prom
We strongly recommend chauffeur service for prom rentals. It removes the responsibility of driving, ensures safety, and creates a VIP experience. Our chauffeurs are professionally dressed, punctual, and experienced with prom events. They handle door-to-door service: home pickup, venue arrival, post-prom dinner, and safe return.
Self-drive is available for licensed drivers aged 25+ (some vehicles 21+ with surcharge). Parents renting for their children should note that the parent must be present as the renter and the vehicle cannot be driven by anyone under our minimum age requirement.
Booking and Pricing Tips
Book early — prom season (April through June) is peak demand for Rolls-Royces and luxury SUVs. Booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance guarantees your preferred vehicle. Ask about four-hour packages instead of full-day rates for prom night. Group bookings (splitting the cost four or five ways) make even a Rolls-Royce affordable at under $200 per person.
